The outgoing year of 2017 turned out to be rich for events, victories and achievements for the university. 115 instructors and employees of the Stavropol State Agrarian University were awarded industry, departmental and other awards.

A university that knows how to win

On December 25, at the end of the calendar year, the Academic Council of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the Rector of the University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor V.I. Trukhachev, announced the main results of the University's educational, scientific, innovative, creative, financial and economic activities for 2017.

The Stavropol State Agrarian University has become the only organization in Russia and the only higher education institution that has won the Russian Government's Quality Prize three times.

In February, the licensing procedure for 8 educational master's programs in the Federal Education and Science Supervision Service was successfully passed, in March - international professional and public accreditation for 4 undergraduate programs, 6 master's programs, 2 specialist programs, 1 postgraduate program, and 6 additional professional education programs.

Following the results of 2017, the Stavropol State Agrarian University became the first among the agrarian universities in Russia in the National University Rankings. Stavropol State Agrarian University has already become the leader of agrarian education for the third consecutive year and confidently ranks 1st in the category "Agricultural Higher Educational Institutions" of the National Rating of Higher Educational Institutions of the Russian Federation - "The Rating of Demand for Universities in the Russian Federation - 2017".

In the Global Index of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), the Stavropol State Agrarian University received the Platinum Excellence level in the "Education" sector. Such a high level of recognition was achieved only by 17 organizations of the world out of 1040 organizations that were included in the index.

In December, the Stavropol State Agrarian University won in the competitive selection of university centers for innovative, technological and social development of regions within the framework of the priority project "Universities as centers of innovation creation". In tough competition, the selection was conducted by 121 universities from 63 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. As a result, 51 Russian universities got the status of "University Center of Innovative, Technological and Social Development of the Region".

In 2017, the rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev was included in the Council of the President of the Russian Federation for Education and Science.

For the first time, a Eurasian grant was awarded on the topic "Development and implementation of an innovative methodology for the application of aerospace digital technologies for the accelerated development of pasture livestock in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU)" in the amount of 9 million rubles.

Young scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University won five federal grants in the program "UMNIK" (2.5 million rubles.) and once again won the All-Russian intellectual game "The Beginner Farmer".

The university won the contest of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for free access to the international database ProQuest (ProQuest), which provides access to full texts of articles from more than 2 thousand publications from around the world.

The Hirsch index of the Stavropol State Agrarian University in 2017 reached 113 units. This is the second indicator among agrarian universities in Russia. The number of publications in Scopus was 329 units, in the Web of Science - 186 units.

In 2017, 126 students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University were nominated for scholarships-the President of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation, the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, etc., and this is the best indicator among the agrarian universities in Russia.

The primary trade-union organization of students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University is recognized as the leader among the primary trade-union organizations of students and trade unions of the country's agro-industrial complex. "Agrarian MEDIA" - the best student media center among the universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the second - among universities in Russia!

A student of the Faculty of Mechanization of Agriculture Maxim Anuprienko became a laureate of the Russian National Prize "Student of the Year - 2017" in the nomination "Student Leader". Elena Khomutova, a student of the Faculty of Economics, is a prize-winner of the All-Russian competition of student self-government bodies in the nomination "The Best Student Media Leader". Semyon Semyonov, postgraduate student of the faculty of technological management of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, was elected chairman of the Youth Government of the Stavropol Territory.

Specialized student groups of the University "Masterok" and "Kolos" became prizewinners of the All-Russian competition of universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation in the nominations "Rural construction" and "Plant growing".

A student of the accounting and financial department Inna Kuliyeva was awarded the All-Russian public-state award "Hot Heart". Master of Economics Faculty Veronika Serikova won in the XIII All-Russian competition "Success - 2017" and was recognized as the best in the field of sports activities, volunteerism and youth policy.

In 2017, the Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted an industry championship of young professionals Worldskills Russia in terms of competence "Veterinary" and the first university selection championship in 5 competencies ("Hotel administration", "Entrepreneurship", "Making prototypes", "Tourism", "Electrical installation ").

Awards - the best!

Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V. I. Trukhachev warmly congratulated the two colleagues, having handed them the diplomas of doctors of sciences. Academic degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences was awarded to Olga Vladimirovna Dilekova, Associate Professor of the Department of Parasitology and Veterinary Sanitary Expertise, Anatomy and Pathanatomy of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; Doctor of Agricultural Sciences - Vera Ivanovna Faizova, Assistant Professor of the Department of Soil Science named after Professor V.I. Tulipov, Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources. Teacher D.V. Shlaev, A.V. Nazarenko, L. V. Tuturgans, V. V.Rybasova received the diploma of the associate professor on the Academic Council.

The silver medal and the certificate "For Contribution to the Development of the Russian Agro-Industrial Complex" were presented by the rector to the Professor of the Department of Animal Feeding and General Biology, Nikolai Zakhrovich Zlydnev.

The title "Honorary Worker in the Education Sector of the Russian Federation" was awarded to Professor of the Department of Processes and Machines in Agribusiness, Vladimir Khambievich Maliev, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization Anatoly Timofeevich Lebedev, Head of the Department of Accounting Financial Accounting Natalia Valentinovna Kulish; the title of "Honored Worker of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Russia" - Head of the Department of Technology of Production and Processing of Agricultural Products Olga Vladimirovna Sychev; the title of "Honored Worker of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Stavropol Territory" - Professor of the Department of Physics Vladimir Alekseevich Halyutkin.

The Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Education of Science of the Russian Federation was presented to associate professors A. V. Nesterenko and O. V. Dilekova. Gratitude of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation received 10 teachers and employees.

Medals of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory "For valorous work" of the II degree were awarded to the director of the Institute of Additional Professional Education O. M. Lisova and dean of the economic faculty O. N. Kusakina; medals of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory "For valiant work" of the third degree - associate professors S. S. Serikov and T.I. Gunko.

A student of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization M. Korolevsky and Associate Professor of Tourism and Service A.G. Ivolga noted the letters of thanks of the head of the region. Honorary letter of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory was given to 8 teachers and staff of the university.

Successful activity of 11 teachers and employees of the Stavropol State Agrarian University was marked by the Honorary Diploma of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory, 31 - Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, 18 - Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Stavropol Territory, 7 - Diploma of the Stavropol City Duma, 15 - Honorary the diploma of the Administration of the Leninsky district of the city of Stavropol. A grateful letter from the Electoral Commission of the Stavropol Territory was presented by the head of the chair of pedagogy, psychology and sociology of the Stavropol State Agrarian University S.I. Tarasova.
