The teacher of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Candidate of Biological Sciences N.N. Glazunovа, appeared at the International Seminar on the 23th of January, which took place in the westernmost point of Russia - the city of Kaliningrad.
Of particular importance in the training of highly qualified specialists is the close relationship of the university with production. This not only systematically modernizes higher education, maximizes the employment of graduates-agrarians, but also allows students to self-cultivate themselves to teachers of the national higher agrarian school.
Cooperation between the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture of the Stavropol State Agrarian University with DuPont is aimed at studying scientific and technological developments of the world level. This opens up new opportunities for scientific research, excursions and field practical classes for students, allows students to be involved in production and pre-graduation practice, and also updates research for bachelor's, master's and doctoral dissertations.
Recently, the most effective form of cooperation of STGAU with DuPont is the participation of teachers in the meetings of scientific and methodological events organized by partner enterprises. So, on the 23th of January, LLC “DuPont Science and Technology” and LLC “Pioneer High-Bred Rus” organized an international seminar in which plant protection specialists were able to present the results of their scientific and industrial research, and to share their knowledge and experience. Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Plant Protection of the Stavropol Agrarian University, PhD in Biology Natalia Nikolaevna Glazunova made at a seminar in Kaliningrad with the report "Means of protection for DuPont."
In addition to this issue, the focus of the workshop participants was the technology of maize cultivation; DuPont Pioneer's portfolio of corn, rape and inoculants.
