Student's day with insurance company

On the eve of the holiday, the strategic partner of the Stavropol State Agrarian University - ROSGOSSTRAKH company congratulated students and teachers on a remarkable holiday, which became favorite for both the student brotherhood and the pedagogical community.

Presidential Decree No. 76 of 25 January 2005 "Russian Students’ Day" officially approved the "professional" holiday of Russian students. It happened to be on Tatyana's day (in a new style on January 25) that in 1755 Empress Elizaveta Petrovna signed a decree "The Establishment of the Moscow University", and Tatiana's day became an official university day. Since then, Saint Tatiana is considered the patroness of students.

On January 25, a representative of the Rosgosstrakh company, the chief specialist of the bulk insurance department of the branch of PJSC IC "Rosgosstrakh" in the Stavropol Territory, Suhaya Alina, came to congratulate students of the accounting and financial department. Alina Sergeevna wished them great life prospects, so that all the dreams came true, and the student's life time brought many romantic moments, pure love and true long-lasting friendship!

A mini-quiz "Insurance Dialogue" was also dedicated to the student's holiday, in which students of the 3rd and 4th year of the Accounting and Finance Department (Economics, Finance and Credit) took part.

The quiz, coordinated by the professors and lecturers of the department "Finance, Credit and Insurance", was held on the basis of the training and practical laboratory "Insurance Shop". For the participants 2 rounds were played with 10 questions in each. The questions in the game concerned practical knowledge on the disciplines "Theory of Insurance" and "Insurance". During the quiz, players could refresh their knowledge of professional disciplines and learn something new.

As in any contest, winners were determined following the results of the competition, but there were no losers on Student's Day, none of the participants was left without gifts. The best students of the insurance business were Maksimova Ekaterina, Bezrukova Ekaterina, Kyatova Milana, Savosina Julia, Masalova Anastasia. They received special gifts from the "Rosgosstrakh"company.

According to the professors and lecturers, carrying out this kind of activities contributes to the interest of students in insurance business and the chosen course of studies. It also helps potential employers in identifying talented students while the professors can estimate the work and developing of successful students throughout the training course.

By the way, for the teaching staff of not only the Stavropol State Agrarian University, but also the whole of Russia, ROSGOSSTRAKH company prepared a holiday gift, releasing the book of the patriarch of domestic insurance business Eugene Vasilyevich Kolomin "Reflections on insurance". The initial circulation of this book was small, so it has long been a bibliographic rarity. On the Russian Students’ Day the company laid out a book for download on its site in the section devoted to educational projects.
