Textbooks for bachelors of economic specialties and financial literacy of citizens have been published

"Insurance" and "Household Finances" - two textbooks with the UMA stamp on classical university and technical education of the RAE were issued by the authors of the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance of the Accounting and Finance Department of StGAU with the participation of employees of the branch of PJSC IC "Rosgosstrakh" in the Stavropol Territory and additional office "Stavropol" LLC "Company BKS".

The authors of these publications included 9 teachers: Head of the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor II Glotov; Doctor of Economics, Professor L. V. Agarkov, BA Doronin; candidates of economic sciences, associate professors Yu. E. Klishina, ON Uglitskikh, EP Tomilina, IM Podkolzina, AA Gladilin and assistant AA Smagin.

Among the authors of the textbook "Insurance" is also the representative of the insurance company - Anna Ovcharenko, Deputy Director for Human Resources at the branch of PJSC IC "Rosgosstrakh" in the Stavropol Territory; the representative of the financial company - Stanislav Grigoriev, the manager of the additional office "Stavropolsky", LLC "BKS Company", is among the authors of the textbook "Household Finances".

The new textbook "Insurance" comprehensively sets forth the theoretical and historical aspects of insurance, examines the economic, legal and mathematical foundations of the insurance business. The structure of this textbook allows you to quickly and in an accessible form understand the key elements of insurance, its terminological and financial and economic basis, specific features of insurance in domestic practice.

It is important that there is material here that is associated not only with studying the basic concepts and obtaining basic knowledge of insurance, but also with their application in practice. All sections of the textbook are supported by concrete examples necessary for understanding the training material. Details of the formation and management of finance of an insurance organization. For each section, the content of the main issues of the topics described is presented, control questions and tasks are provided, providing students with the opportunity to conduct self-monitoring. The textbook corresponds to the current federal state educational standard of higher education of the new generation and is intended for students of economic specialties studying under the bachelor's program.

In the new textbook "Household Finances" household issues are considered as a component of decentralized finance. The nature and functions of household finances, their financial resources are described; incomes and their formation, expenses; financial management, the problem of savings, making decisions on the purchase of real estate, optimizing transport costs, calculating the appropriateness of spending on education, optimizing the costs of obtaining medical care and tax payments; technology development of the household financial plan. Particular attention is paid to financial management tools of households and their insurance protection.

In addition, the textbook has a lot of examples, studying which you can get practical skills in managing household finances, learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of using their financial resources, analyze and evaluate the implementation of financial goals. Students are also offered questions and tasks for self-control. Like the previous one, this textbook corresponds to the current GEF in the new generation. It is intended for academic baccalaureate of all forms of training in the field of preparation 38.03.01 "Economics", and can also be used to improve the financial literacy of citizens.
