At the III Patriotic Forum of the Stavropol Territory

Representatives of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the event, which took place on February 1 on the basis of the North Caucasus Federal University. There was the chairman of the Student Center for Civil and Patriotic Education, 4-year student of the Accounting and Finance Department Nikonova Yana and the head of the Museum of History of the University Shmatko Olga.

The Patriotic Forum united students and schoolchildren, activists of the Russian Union of Youth, the Russian movement of schoolchildren, centers for patriotic education and youth work institutions.

The plenary session was opened by the deputy chairman of the Stavropol Territory, Irina Kuvaldina, who noted that the Stavropol Territory has always been actively involved in the patriotic education of the youth. This is evidenced by the months of the defense-mass work, the patriotic song competition "Soldier Envelope", the football tournament named after. Vladislav Dukhin and a large number of other significant events organized in the Stavropol region. So, for example, 43 years, without interruption, the military game "Zarnitsa" is held, which has become a good school of preparation for service in the Russian army. A significant role is played by military-patriotic and military-historical associations, school museums. The territorial system of patriotic upbringing is closely coordinated with the all-Russian one: the Unarmy, the Russian movement of schoolchildren, and the Volunteers of Victory are organized. The real pride of the region are the natives of Stavropol, who were awarded the honor guard honor at the Eternal Fire in the Alexander Park of Moscow three times.

The work of the Patriotic Forum was held in 5 sections. In the course of their work, the participants discussed the activities of the youth units of the educational organizations of the region, developed a system of interaction between local and regional youth organizations, talked about the development of a network of municipal centers for patriotic upbringing, and representatives of educational organizations of higher and vocational education overseeing the patriotic education of youth, directions of work and prospects.

III The Patriotic Forum of Stavropol ended with the jubilee gala concert of the winners of the XXV Interregional Patriotic Festival-Contest of the Patriotic Song "The Soldier's Envelope - 2018", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Stavropol Territory from the Nazi invaders.
