Before the bronze victory, the student of the Accounting and Finance Facalty of Agrarian University Islam Aysandyrov with honour passed the qualifying arm wrestling tournament in Cherkessk, where he won in the weight category up to 75 kg.
These competitions gave him the right to participate in the Championship of Russia, held from January 29 to February 1 in Ekaterinburg.
In the prestigious sports competition, 21 teams took part with a total of 794 participants. Islam proved that he was worthy and returned as a bronze medallist!
Let’s note that in 2018 two first-year students of the Agrarian University took the pedestal of the Championship of Russia in arm-wrestling. Junior took Akhmat Aibazov, a student the Faculty of Economics of SSAU.
