Participation in the Regional Championship “Young Professionals” of the Stavropol Territory

From February 12 to February 15, the Regional Championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) of the Stavropol Territory was held on the basis of the Aleksandrovsky Agricultural College, where the teachers of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Stavropol State Agrarian University have become independent experts of the competence “Veterinary”.
In addition to the participants of professional competitions and experts, the event was attended by heads of professional educational organizations of the Stavropol Territory, representatives of the regional Ministry of Education and Youth Policy, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
Within the framework of the championship there was a round table in which the Dean of the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Technological Management of Stavropol State Agrarian University Skripkin Valentin Sergeevich took part. Teachers of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Stavropol State Agrarian University - Professor of the Department of Therapy and Pharmacology Bahamayev Bahama Manapovich; Associate Professor of the Department of Parasitology and Veterinary-Sanitary Expertise, Anatomy and Pathanatomy Dyachenko Yulia Vasilievna; Associate Professor of the Department of Physiology, Surgery and Obstetrics Belugin Nikolai Vasilyevich, as well as associate professor of the Department of Physiology, Surgery and Obstetrics Roman Aleksandrovich Tsygansky worked as independent experts of the regional championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) of the Stavropol Territory under the competence of R56 “Veterinary”. And as the chief expert of this competence was the senior lecturer of the Department of Therapy and Pharmacology Olga Igorevna Sevostyanova.
As part of the event, independent experts conducted training workshops for college students. Thus, the master class “Ultrasound examination of the abdominal cavity in small domestic animals” was conducted by the assistant professor of the Department of Physiology, Surgery and Obstetrics, Roman Aleksandrovich Tsigansky. As a result, the students were able to immediately apply the acquired knowledge in practice and conduct an ultrasound examination on their own.
