On the festive St. Valentine’s Day, the first beauties and cleverness of the Stavropol State Agrarian University shone before the audience in the image of their dreams, fascinated with creative numbers and bright defile, and then tried on the crowns. Home went to a student of the accounting and financial department: Kseniya Nazarova inspired poetry, created a club “The World inside the Word” in high school and has already released her first poetic collection.
The “Miss University” show contest was held by the Agrarian University this year for the 18th time, and throughout all these years he has been loved and always expecting. So, on February 14, the assembly hall of SSAU was full. Teachers, classmates, parents are all worried about the girls. And they were not recognized!
A refined Audrey Hepburn, an enigmatic poet-girl, engrossed in poetry, Angelina Jolie herself, and also the goddess Flora, a spectacular Daisy Buchanan ... All the standards of female beauty masterfully and in real life were embodied by students of the Agrarian University - stately, gentle, spectacular, charming.
Judging in this unusual evening was carried out by real sages, aesthetes and great friends - mentors of agrarian students: the head of the department of culture of the administration of the city of Stavropol Korshun Vyacheslav; Honored Artist of Russia, leading actor and director of the Stavropol Academic Drama Theater named after M.Yu. Lermontov, Honorary Professor of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Alexander Rostov; the general director of the construction company “Druzhba”, Honorary builder of Russia Sergey Dolzhenko; graduate of SSAU, general director of the Russian-Korean biopharmaceutical company for the development and production of innovative medicines Dmitry Moszherin; “Mr. Studenthood of Russia 2017” Pavel Babich and Head of the Regional Executive Directorate of the XXVI All-Russian Festival “Russian Students’ Spring” Nikolay Golovin.
Each of the 9 student participants appeared before the eyes of the audience as “Lady Style” (defile in cocktail dresses), “Russian Beauty” (defile in the costumes of the peoples of Russia), “Lady Perfection” (defile in evening dresses) and sought to impress with her eccentricity as “Lady Creativity”. In the course of a beautiful contest, the creative collectives and “stars” of the university were “warming up” their already burning emotions with their singing and dancing. The vocal studio “Provans”, the show ballet “Stylinye shtuchki”, dance projects “Territory”, “Lucky Stydens”, the show project “Evidence” and “The Golden Voices of the Agrarian University” - the owner of the title “Woman of the Year of the City of Stavropol – 2017” Svetlana Sevastyanova and a graduate of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization Andrey Saveliev, who knows firsthand how difficult it is to win the creative title “Mr. SSAU”.
In the end of the simply enchanting evening, the winners of the nomination “Miss Charm-2018” won the third contestant-contestant Ksenia Nazarova (Accounting and Finance Faculty), Anna Belousova (Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture) and Regina Heliyeva (Faculty of Agro Biology and Land Resources).
Three other students - Anastasia Sidorenko, a freshman at the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, Anastasia Sysoeva (4th year, Faculty of Technological Management) and Kseniya Pakhomova (4th year, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) won the nomination “Miss Grace – 2018”. And it was really justified.
Spectators, for example, could not fail to impress the dance duet of Sidorenko sisters. Nastya, along with her younger sister, remained true to Russian folk dance, dashingly dancing “Kalinka”. Another amazing dance already Sysoeva Anastasia seemed to have moved everyone to hot Brazil, in Rio de Janeiro, and lit the audience with a carnival mood! And Ksenia Pakhomovava, together with Mr. Agrarian University-2018, Ruslan Isakov, gave the audience a very beautiful, bright dance of two lovers.
Three more participants of the show were called “Miss Charm – 2018”. All of them are third-year students - Alina Dutova studies at the Hospitality and Tourism Faculty, Anastasia Podlesnaya - at the economic, Margarita Shaimordanova - the future power engineer.
The most photogenic jury recognized Anastasia Sysoeva. The representative of Technological Management was awarded the title “Miss Photo – 2018”.
“People’s Miss – 2018” Margarita Shaimordanova was chosen an absolute, unprecedented majority of votes - there are 180 825 votes! Studying at the Electric Power Faculty, the girl has time to professionally engage in sports ballroom dancing, she is a champion of the Southern Federal District, a Candidate for the Master of Sports of Russia; she surprised everyone with the number of medals won.
The title “2nd Vice-Miss of SSAU-2018” generous men’s jury decided to award two contestants at once. They are all the same owner of the audience prize Margarita Shaimordanova and a student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Ksenia Pakhomova.
“The First Vice-Miss of SSAU-2018” was the future economist Anastasia Podlesnaya. By the way, it was she who pleased the audience with the amusing, jocular “Moscow quadrille”. Well, the main crown for the “Miss Agrarian University – 2018” student of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of Stavropol State Agrarian University Ksenia Nazarova solemnly wore her predecessor - the owner of this title last year, “Vice Miss Student of the Stavropol Territory – 2017” Veronica Serikova. In addition to excellent creative qualities, Kseniya’s luck smiled also because she sets high goals: “Change the world through a positive and reach out to every heart on this planet!”

Each, except for the audience’s recognition, flowers, generous gifts from sponsors, fellow students, teachers, received another 18 scholarships - personally from the Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University Vladimir Trukhachev.
