Reading lectures on pedology and internship carried out the head of the Department of Soil Science. Professor V. Tulipov of Stavropol State University, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor V. Tskhovrebov, having visited the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy (Gorki).
According to Professor Valery S. Tskhovrebov, the subjects of the lectures were devoted to the absorption capacity of soils, to organic matter and the evolution of soils. In parallel with reading lectures, the scientist passed an internship at the Chair of Soil Science, studying the main types of soils of the Republic of Belarus.
- During the meeting with the Vice-Rector for the improvement of professional skills and retraining of the staff of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, senior lecturer Chechetkin Alexander Sergeevich, the issues of joint cooperation in the field of professional development of the teaching staff of both universities were touched upon, - said Valery Sergeyevich. - In Minsk, I managed to talk with the director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, Professor Lapa Vitaly Vitalievich, and discuss the issues of the state and increase of soil fertility in the Republic of Belarus. Thanks to the head of the soil monitoring laboratory, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Pirogovskaya Galina Vladimirovna got acquainted with the lysimeters and lysimetric platform of the Institute.
As a result of the trip agreements were reached on joint scientific research between the Chair of Soil Science, the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology of SSAU and the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Republic of Belarus, which once again confirms the importance of searching for and developing various forms of academic mobility for teachers of the higher agrarian school.
