Volunteer detachment "Volunteer" Stavropol SAU is implementing a grant project, which won the All-Russian competition of the federal agency "Rosmolodezh".
The project of the 3rd year student of the accounting and financial department of the State University of Civil Engineering Alyona Alefirenko "The point of support is all of us" is aimed at attracting orphans to creative works through quilling, embroidery and other kinds of decorative and applied art.
"But to teach children something is not the main goal of our project," explains a student at the Agrarian University. - For children it's more important to see new faces and hear new stories. The children's shelter "Rosinka" in Stavropol was chosen by us not accidentally, it was there that the volunteers of our university - one of the most anticipated guests for several years.
On February 15, within the framework of the project in the orphanage, the first lesson was "Drawing on wooden workpieces". In the course of work, the guys embodied interesting and unusual inventions with their own hands and learned to work in one friendly team.
- We will implement the project within a year. For pupils "Rosinka" there are still many exciting activities. - The students-agrarians promise.
