Our powerful athletes have surpassed their rivals with excellent power results as always. Absolute champion among the girls, who raised 115 kg, was Liana Zatonskaya, freshman of the magistracy of the Electric Power Department of the Stavropol State Ararian University.
In the league on powerlifting, Nikolay Korshunov, the 2nd year master student of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, also performed well. Nikolay became the leader in the weight category up to 100 kg and pleased everyone with his result, having mastered the 240-kilogram deadlift.
The fourth-year student of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture Danila Kalashnikov took the 2nd place in the category of up to 100 kg, his result is also high - 225 kilogram deadlift.
But on these results the team of athletes of the Agrarian University decided not to stop and in the tug of war took the 2nd place!
Agrarians also distinguished themselves in humor. Amirkhan Gurbanov, the 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, in the manner of his beloved grandmother from the Club of the Funny and Inventive Students, performed funny folk rhymes about Maslenitsa and his native university.
