In the forum, held on February 13 on the basis of the North Ossetian State University named after K. L. Khetagurov, activists from the Volunteer Detachment of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Valeriya Ischenko and Nailya Kateeva participated in the seven regions of the North-Caucasian Federal District.
Having met each other, the participants of the large-scale meeting attended master classes and told about the activities of their organizations to distinguished guests. Among the famous people who visited the large volunteer event of the North Caucasus Region were Vice Speaker of the Federation Council, Secretary of the General Council of the Party “United Russia” Andrei Turchak, as well as about 30 Deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, including Alexander Karelin, Svetlana Zhurova, Vyacheslav Fetisov, Nikolai Valuev. It was also possible to see actors of theater and cinema, public figures Anton Bogdanov and Mikhail Porechenkov.
The very initiative of the first convocation of the volunteers of the North Caucasus Federal District "Goodwill of the Caucasus" belongs to State Duma Deputy Arthur Taymazov. Within the framework of the meeting, a volunteer support center was opened, which provided assistance to volunteers in terms of organizational, methodological, educational and consultative resources.
The volunteers conducted a flashmob in the form of a dance, at the end of which they formed the inscription "The youth of the Caucasus - for peace", thereby demonstrating the unity of spirit and the strength of the unification of the ambitious volunteer movement of the North Caucasus Region.
