On 19th February representatives of student youth from 15 higher and 43 professional educational organizations of the Stavropol Region gathered at the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
The seminar was held under the auspices of the regional branch of the All-Russian Public Youth Movement "Association of Students and Students' Associations of Russia" in the Stavropol Territory, in conjunction with the Department for Youth Policy of the Stavropol Krai Government and the Ministry of Education of the Stavropol Territory.
Opening words for the participants and organizers of the event were given to honorable guests. Among them one could see Deputy Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Stavropol Territory, Ilya Yurchishin, First Secretary of the Stavropol Regional Public Organization "Russian Union of Youth"; Chairman of the Stavropol Regional Public Organization "Russian Union of Youth" Kamo Mirzoyan. The children were also greeted by the chief specialist of the Department for Youth Policy of the Government Office of the Stavropol Territory Maria Danilova and the curator of the movement of the Association of Students and Students' Associations of Russia in the North Caucasus Federal District Kirill Cherkess.
Chairman of the regional branch of the Association of Students and Students' Associations of Russia in the Stavropol Territory Nikolai Golovin presented the program of the organization's activities and participated in the awarding of letters of gratitude to honorable activists of the movement in the region.
For several hours, depending on the direction of activity in student self-government, the seminar participants actively worked in one of four educational and discussion areas, where the coordinators were the federal trainers of the Association of Trainers of the RSM.
Within the framework of the seminar-meeting, the second report-elective conference of the regional branch of the AOS of Russia in the Stavropol Territory was also held, the result of which was the election of a new Council. The Council consisted of Nikolay Golovin, Chairman of the Regional Branch of the Russian ASO in the UK; Kirill Cherkess, Curator of the Russian Association of Civil Aviation in the North Caucasus Federal District; curators of the directions - Elena Livenskaya (Competencies), Alena Khomutova (Media), Rimma Arutiunova (Patriot), Maxim Soloschenko (Corps of Public Observers), Veronika Katovich (Intellect); Anna Kobzareva, ACO coordinator in the UK with VET; coordinators of the regional branches of the ASO - Zarema Toboyeva (in Pyatigorsk), Elina Grigoryants (on the CMS), Maxim Kandaurov (in Nevinnomysk) and Denis Belovitsky, Chairman of the Union of Students and Postgraduates of the Stavropol State Medical University; Maksim Anuprienko, Chairman of the Council of Students of SSAU; Maria Danilova, member of the Board of the Regional Branch of the Russian Association of Civil Aviation in the Stavropol Territory; Olga Dolgopolova, Press Secretary of ASO UK; Veronica Burdasova, Chairman of the Control and Revision Commission.
An effective end of the event was the holding of a census of student associations of the Stavropol Territory whose goal is to receive up-to-date information on the work of student government bodies in the region.
