63 open thematic lessons for the youth of Stavropol Region were conducted by teachers of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction for a month, actively participating in the implementation of the environmental project "Let's preserve the nature of our native land".
A major environmental project is being implemented within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the Government of the Stavropol Territory and the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). The main goal of the project is to contribute to the increase of the population of noble and spotted deer in the territories of nature reserves "Lesnaya Dacha", "Russian Forest" and "Buguntinskiy", as well as environmental education work with the younger generation.
The project involves the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Stavropol Territory, the Ministry of Education of the Region with the assistance of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organization for the Protection of the Environment "Public Environmental Control of Russia" in the Stavropol region.
Representatives of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction - Associate Professors Yu. A. Mandra, E. E. Stepanenko, assistant V. Yu. Kapaeva and post-graduate student V. Chebotaeva conducted 63 open ecological lessons for the youth of Ipatovski, Shpakovsky, Predgorny, Izobilnensky, Apanasenkovsky, Trunovsky District of the Stavropol Territory and the city of Stavropol.
The subjects of the classes were aimed primarily at acquaintance of the younger generation with the basics of ecological culture, the formation of the image of a socially active and environmentally literate person. During the lessons the students listened to the lectures "Spotted deer in the Stavropol forests. Who is it and how to make friends with them? "," How to preserve the population of the noble and spotted deer? "," Strizhamment - a unique natural home "; took part in the ecological game "Plant a tree"; participated in the viewing and discussion of environmental themes, in seminars "Ecology and Culture - the Future of My Country and Territory".
