The Accounting and Finance Department of the Stavropol State Agrarian University celebrates its big birthday - the 20th anniversary since the foundation. A festive concert was dedicated to the glorious date, on which the leadership, professors, strategic partners of the faculty and its successful alumni gathered in the assembly hall of SSAU on February 26.
Numerous guests, including the arriving delegations of colleagues from Kabardino-Balkaria, Rostov, Voronezh and Moscow, were met by smart and young representatives of the faculty-jubilee. They lovingly decorated the hall: the columns of colorful balloons were located near the towering arms of the Stavropol State Agrarian University and the Accounting and Finance Department. The holiday began with a solemn beginning - waltzing to the sounds of classical music of participants of the show-ballet "Stylish Things".
Then the vice-rector for educational and upbringing work of SSAU, Professor Ivan Atanov took the floor for congratulations. He noted how young and active the accounting and finance faculty is, and he added that its students are one of the most advanced in the Stavropol Agrarian University. This is indicated by a considerable number of excellent students of the faculty, and its scientific, creative potential, as well as socially useful student initiatives. Here, for example, the first winner of the contest of the Russian National Prize "Student of the Year" Ekaterina Voytisheva studied, and now Inna Kuliyeva studies here, she is a "Volunteer of Russia", the holder of the state-public award "Hot Heart"; third-year students "Mister and Miss of Agrarian University - 2018 "Xenia Nazarova and Ruslan Isakov and other talented, promising young people study at the faculty. Vice-Rector I. V. Atanov also voiced warm congratulations on the landmark event on behalf of the rector of SSAU, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Truhachev, who conveyed to the heroes of the day an exclusive sweet masterpiece - a large anniversary cake!
During the memorable evening, all in attendance traveled through the pages of the 20-year biography of the Faculty of "Accounting and Finance": from the sources to the formation of various departments. By names the legendary teachers, true professionals in their field were remembered. All those who have made and continue to make an invaluable contribution to the organization, formation and development of the faculty, for whom competence, quality, prestige have become a vector in fruitful activity for the benefit of the region.
The Faculty of "Accounting and Finance" began its history with the training of specialists with the qualification "Economist" in 1962. The increased need for specialists in this field made it necessary to allocate a new independent Faculty of "Accounting and Finance" from the Faculty of Economics department in 1998. October 20, 2003, the Faculty of Finance and Banking was established, since 2011 it has been named the Faculty of Accounting and Finance. Now it is one of the most advanced faculties of the State Agrarian University, its students and faculty bring a large number of awards and prizes to the treasury of the achievements of one of the best agrarian universities in Russia.
On behalf of the students Jana Nikonova the fourth-year student of the direction "Finance and Credit", the nominal scholarship holder of the Government of the Russian Federation, the chairman of the Student Council of the Faculty of "Accounting and Finance, congratulated the audience with the anniversary.
Creative gifts to the participants were presented by numerous universities collectives - vocal studios "Provence" and "Joyce", folk song ensemble "Lel", show project "Evidence", the best vocalists and dancers of SSAU.
Elena Ivanovna Kostyukova the doctor of economic sciences, professor, head of the department "Management accounting" wished to the students and the teachers of the faculty prosperity, an endless flow of creativity and strength for new achievements. And then the hospitable dean cordially invited guests and graduates to walk through the auditoriums of the faculty-hero of the day to see the changes that took place in the walls of the alma mater.
