Participating in the district forum "Mentor", students of the Agrarian University demonstrated the practice of mentoring in the social environment. Within the framework of the forum, the delegation of the Young Professionals Union visited the venues for regional and university championships "Worldskills Russia" in the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
The district forum "Mentor"was held on March 1 in the North Caucasus Federal University. Over 800 instructors at enterprises, representatives of district business associations, mentors and students of leading educational institutions, development institutions, federal and regional authorities, activists of the circle movement, arrived from the North Caucasus region, as well as from Moscow and Krasnodar.
The main goal of the forum is to popularize the best practices of mentoring in the North Caucasus Federal District, to enhance the social status of the mentor, to recognize his role and place in society. The event was organized by the ANPO Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Office of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District, the Government of the Stavropol Territory, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory and the North Caucasus Federal University.
Students of the Agrarian University took an active part in the work of the forum section "Mentoring in the social environment," where activists from the "Volunteer" team Aliona Alefirenko and Inna Kuliyeva made speeches. Also within the framework of the forum there was a visit to the Stavropol State Agrarian University by the delegation of the "Young Professionals" Union headed by Deputy General Director "Young Professionals Worldskill Russia "Alexey Tymchikov.
The delegation visited the venue for the regional and university championships "Worldskills Russia" in the competence of "Hotel Administration" at the faculty of social and cultural services and tourism. Then they visited the National specialized center "Production of prototypes", acting on the basis of CUIC "Fablab" Vector ".
A coach of the national team for the competence "Production of prototypes", Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanics and Computer Graphics of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of SSAU Denis Kalugin acquainted the guests with the equipment of the Center, and presented techniques that were actively used in preparing the winners of the professional skill national championship finals. At the end of the visit, Alexey Tymchikov noted the high level of the material and technical base of the Center and called on his colleagues to cooperate in training specialists of promising specialties.
