New experimental data on increasing the effectiveness of fertilizers were presented in the textbook "Agrochemistry", published in Moscow by the scientists of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
The staff of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology of SSAU with scientists-agrochemists of Russia associate long-term scientific cooperation with the Commonwealth of Scientists of Agrochemists and Agroecologists. One of its results was publishing in Moscow the textbook "Agrochemistry" prepared by the authors - Viktor Gavrilovich Sychev, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Anatoly Ivanovich Podkolzin, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology of the State Agrarian University, under the general editorship of Academician V.G. Mineev.
The textbook presents new experimental data on increasing the effectiveness of fertilizers in the interrelation between the factors "soil, climate, fertilizer and plant". Much attention is paid to the role of agrochemistry in the regulation of plant nutrition in order to increase the yields and quality of crop production, as well as in the reproduction of soil fertility, improving the balance and biological cycle of substances. All these issues take into account the nature of climatic conditions. The authors formulated new ecological functions of agrochemistry and presented the scientific foundations of zonal fertilizer systems and individual crops, their agronomic and ecological assessment.
The textbook contains the information necessary for the formation of professional competencies of bachelors and masters in such areas of training as "Agronomy", "Agrochemistry and agropsychology", "Gardening". The publication is recommended by the Scientific and Methodological Council on Agriculture for use in the educational process. It is addressed to students of soil specialties of universities and agricultural universities.
For reference:
The staff of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology of SSAU are permanent participants of the annual International Agrochemical Forums held within the framework of the Commonwealth of Scientists of Agrochemists and Agroecologists. So, on 6-9th of June, 2017 they participated in the XI International Symposium of the NCP "Commonwealth of Scientists of Agrochemists and Agroecologists", the main theme of which was "Forecast of the state and scientific provision of soil fertility of agricultural lands for the period until 2030 and 2050".
