XXI Dokuchaev's youth readings paved the bridge between the sciences

Associate Professor of Soil Science named after V.I. Tyulpanova, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Anastasia Nikiforova presented the report of the teachers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University at the International Scientific Conference "Soil Science - a Bridge between Sciences" in St. Petersburg.

XXI Dokuchaev's youth readings, timed to the birthday of the outstanding natural scientist, the founder of soil science, V. V. Dokuchaev, were held from the 28th of February to the 3rd of March on the basis of the St. Petersburg State University. The annual conference was held under its aegis, as well as the Central Museum of Soil Science named after V.V. Dokuchaev, the Fund for the Preservation and Development of the Scientific Heritage of V.V. Dokuchaev, the Soil Science Society named after V.V. Dokuchaev and the Conservation Union with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR).

Among the 385 speakers - participants in the popular forum of soil scientists were students, graduate students and young scientists from universities and research institutions in Russia, near and far abroad. The geography of the international conference in 2018 covered Belarus, Kazakhstan, Iran, Mongolia, Germany.

Shoba; director of the Soil Institute named after V.V. Dokuchaev, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, A.L. Ivanov; Chairman of the Central Council of the IPO "Environmental Conservation Union", Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Academician of RAE, Professor, Doctor of Biological Sciences V. M. Tarbaeva; President of the Fund for the Preservation and Development of the Scientific Heritage named afterV. V. Dokuchaev, Doctor of Economic Sciences V. N. Baturin.
