The main cup of the intellectual intra-university league "Expand Horizons" was taken by freshmen of the Power Engineering Faculty of the Stavropol State Agrarian University

For two months the Club of Intellectual Games of the Agrarian University "The Power of Thought" led by the student of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of Vladimir Avakyan conducted games in which first-year students of all faculties of the university competed.

To make the competitions exciting and enthralling the newcomers, the members of the Intellectual Games Club of the student of the economic faculty Kareitova Janet and Kozhevnikova Julia, the student of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture Nikolay Umnov, as well as the student of the Technological Management Department Sayan Khalikov, during all rounds, came up with various competitive tests.

In the final game of the league, teams of the electric power faculty, the faculty of veterinary medicine and the faculty of agrobiology and land resources made their way. The final game was judged by a discerning jury consisting of the head of the department for educational work and social issues, associate professor Gunko Tatyana Ivanovna, deputy chairman of the primary trade union organization of students of StGAU Semenov Semyon and head of the Intelligent Games Club, coordinator of the Intellect direction of ASO SK Katovich Veronika.

The guys competed in four competitive tests: a warm-up for the captains, "Turning Logic", "Pictures" and the "Guess the Word" round.

As a result of the game, the best captain of the tournament was a student of the power faculty Turaev Ramzan. The main cup of the intellectual league was also taken away by a team of future power engineers! Freshmen of the EEF throughout the tournament proved that they rightfully represent the most erudite power engineering department. The second step of the pedestal was taken by students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and the students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources won the bronze of the tournament.

According to the members of the jury, it is this kind of intellectual games that develop the potential of freshmen, which they will necessarily increase and will certainly flaunt the power of thought in the next club game
