The staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Stavropol State Agrarian University made selection of biological material from young pigs for scientific research, which are carried out within the framework of the project of the technological platform of the program "FoodNet" for the Stavropol Territory.
Realizing the monitoring of the health and productivity of farm animals, on March 16, representatives of the Agrarian University visited the SPC "Russia" in the village of Grigoropolis, Novoaleksandrovsky district. Among them - head of the department of physiology, surgery and obstetrics, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Kvochko AN , associate professors of the department of parasitology and vnesanekspertizy, anatomy and patanatomy Shpygova VM and Dilekova O. V , as well as assistant professor of therapy and pharmacology Kireev I . AT.
According to agrarian scientists, the results obtained during the research will allow developing innovative approaches and methods for creating competitive livestock products. In the format of the promising market "FoodNet", it should be created on the basis of the use of advanced selection-genetic and physiological-biochemical methods. These steps are necessary to ensure import substitution in the agro-food market of the Russian Federation.
