Future financiers excellently showed themselves in the II Republican International Competition of research works of students, undergraduates and post-graduate students.
The second time students of the Accounting and Finance Faculty take part in the contest “Actual problems of economics and management: theory and practice” organized in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Donetsk People’s Republic of October 25, 2017 №1088, which approved the plan for carrying out activities of the Republican level in educational organizations of higher professional education of the NDP for 2017/2018 academic year. The purpose of this competition is to develop the creative potential and creative thinking of students, undergraduates, graduate students through the formation of professional competences in the field of Economics and Management.
This year, undergraduates of the 5th year of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of the Stavropol State Agrarian University (directions of preparation “Finance and Credit”, Master Program “Corporate Finance and Financial and Credit Institutions”) participated in the contest nomination “Presentation”.
In the section “Problems and prospects for the implementation of accounting and control functions in modern economic systems” the winner was Alexandrova Julia, who prepared the scientific work “Evaluation of Innovative Activity of Organizations”, the winner was Orekhovskaya Margarita, who presented the work “Assessment of the Efficiency of Budget Expenditures of Educational Institutions”. Curator of the direction was the head of the department “Finance, Credit and Insurance Business” SSAU, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Glotova Irina Ivanovna.
The declared subject of another winner of the competition was Tatyana Baevoya’s scientific work on the topic “Financial stability of credit institutions: assessment and methods of regulation”. Became the prize winner of the competition Slyunko Eugenia developed the project “MTPL market: analysis of the state, problems and development prospects”. The scientific supervisor of these works, presented in the section “Infrastructure of financial management and banking sector at the national and international levels: problems and prospects for development”, became Tomilina Elena Petrovna, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the department “Finance, credit and insurance business”.

In total, 68 scientific works from 10 educational institutions of higher professional education of the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People’s Republic were submitted for participation in the contest in 2018. Among them are Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after M. Tugan-Baranovsky, Ufa State Aviation Technical University, Novosibirsk State Technical University, Bashkir State University, Izhevsk State Technical University named after M.T.
