There is such a profession to manage!

The interactive and educational forum "Manager's Day", which has already become a traditional event for the professors of the Management Department, was held for the sixth time. The event was opened by the Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Management Department Andrey Baidakov.

The forum was held in the Stavropol State Agrarian University for two days.

On the first day, participants competed the intellectual quiz "Super Manager of the 21st century". The quiz was held on the initiative of Julia Kozhevnikova, a second-year student majoring in management. 6 teams took part in the quiz:

· Team of the first course students majoring in management – "Mighty Personnel";

· Team of the second course students majoring in management –"Super managers of the XXI century";

· Team of the third course students majoring in management – "And Bill is with us ";

· Team of the Economics Faculty students – "Fayole’s Property Division".

Special guests:

– Team of the Accounting and Finance Department students – "Pharaohs of Egypt"

– Team of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture students – "Incredible Jobs".

The quiz was held in 4 rounds, in each of them the participants demonstrated their knowledge and skills in the field of management, as well as team spirit. As a result of the quiz, the best captain of the team was chosen – Nazarenko Yana, a second-year student of the Accounting and Finance Department. The most artistic and active player was also chosen – Nikolai Umnov, a second-year student of the Faculty of Ecology of Landscape Architecture. The winner was the team of the third year students majoring in management "And Bill is with us."

On the second day, the master class "Criteria for the project success" was held, at which the managers of the Coordinating Center for the Transformation of the Stavropol SAU into the Center for Innovative and Technological Development of the Stavropol Territory, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Bobryshev Alexey Nikolaevich and PhD in Economics, Senior Lecturer Kenina Diana Sergeevna revealed the main concepts and design features, the criteria for the project success, as well as areas for the realization of their creative, scientific and business ideas. At the end of the event PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of Management Chair Zaporozhets Dmitry Vasilievich conducted a business game "Struggle for Resources". For a short period of time it was necessary for the teams to distribute available resources, plan and implement the project. Each of the participants showed a non-standard way of thinking and an amazing team game.

A feature of the second day of the forum was the participation of foreign undergraduates majoring in Human Resource Management – Alexei Igoshin (Azerbaijan) and Ibrahim Bishara (Syria).

The Acting Head of the Management Department, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Nazarenko Anton Vladimirovich summarized the results of the forum and thanked all the participants.
