April 16, 2018 on the eve of the Great Victory celebration the regional motor rally "Eh, the front line road" started from the memorial "Fire of Eternal Glory" in Stavropol

The rally will be held from April 16 to May 9, 2018 throughout the Stavropol Territory, as well as in the subjects of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts. Since the launch of the project in 2015, participants have traveled about 20,000 kilometers on vehicles of the Great Patriotic War UAZ-69 and GAZ-M-20 "Pobeda", visited more than 730 settlements. More than one million people have touched the Victory symbol.

The Stavropol State Agrarian University became the first stopping point for the rally "Eh, the front line road". The event was attended by Viktor Ivanovich Lozovoy, Member of the Stavropol Territory Duma, Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev, Rector of the SSAU, RAS Academician, Professor, Deputy of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory, Nikolai Gavrilovich Guzinin, Chairman of the Veterans’ Council of the SSAU, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, back workers, labor veterans, and more than 500 university professors and students. V.I. Trukhachev the Rector of the University, addressed guests and participants of the rally with a welcoming speech to. He warmly thanked the activists of the rally, stressing that the experience the guys acquire during this action, while communicating with the residents of many cities and villages, broadens their horizons, tempers student character. The participants of the event were greeted by Nikolai Bugaychenko, formerly an assistant professor of the Agricultural Mechanization Department, who was a chauffeur during the Great Patriotic War. Nikolai Vladimirovich told the audience about the role played by cars during the war, the importance of the driver's profession in those difficult years, the daily routine of a simple front-line driver, the combat vehicles that helped to forge the long-awaited Victory.

During the rally, students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University will visit memorials and monuments to the dead soldiers, together with veterans, representatives of local authorities, residents of these regions will hold meetings with the laying of flowers and wreaths to military graves. At each meeting with the residents of the settlements, the participants of the rally will unfold the symbol of Victory – the Victory Banner, 22 meters long and 11 meters wide.
