From 16 to 17 April 2018 in the Federal State Budget Scientific Institution "All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Agrochemistry named after D.N. Pryanishnikova" hosted the All-Russian Coordination Meeting of scientific institutions participating in the geographic network of experiments with fertilizers "Results of the implementation of the Program of Fundamental Scientific Research of the State Academies for 2013-2020" and the International Scientific Conference "Dynamics of Changes in Soil Fertility Indicators and a Set of Measures for their Regulation with Long-Term Application fertilizer systems in different soil and climatic zones". These scientific events were attended by the dean of the Agrobiology and Land Resources Department, Doctorof Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Esaulko Alexander Nikolaevich and PhD in Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor of the Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology Department Sigida Maxim Sergeevich.
The meeting was opened by Sychev Viktor Gavrilovich, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Agrochemistry.
A welcoming speech was made by the Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Donnik Irina Mikhailovna and Treshkin Sergey Evgenievich, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Deputy Head of the Department for Coordination and Support of Organizations in the Field of Agricultural Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The coordinating meeting was attended by more than 50 speakers, the main of which were:
- Gamzikov Gennady Pavlovich, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk State Agrarian University, with the report "Influence of long-term application of fertilizers on agrochemical properties of soils in stationary experiments in Siberia";
- Sheudzhen Askhad Khazretovich, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Kuban State Agrarian University named after. I.T. Trubilin, with the report "The effect of long-term use of mineral fertilizers on the productivity and fertility of soils in the western Ciscaucasia";
- Zavalin Alexei Anatolyevich, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy Academician of the Agricultural Sciences Department of the Russian Academy of Sciences, with the report "Current state and nitrogen problems in world agriculture";
- Saparov Abdulla Saparovich, Academician of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the report "Status and Prospects of Research in Long-Term Experiments with Fertilizers in the Republic of Kazakhstan";
- Esaulko Alexander Nikolaevich, doctor of agricultural sciences, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Sigida Maxim Sergeevich, PhD in agricultural sciences, Stavropol State Agrarian University, with the report "Contribution of the «Geoset»'s long experience in preserving soil fertility in the Central Ciscaucasiaand the application of fertilizers in the cultivation of crops using no-till technology".
Alexander Nikolayevich reminded that the Stavropol State Agrarian University has been the regional coordinator of the geographic network of experiments with fertilizers for many years. Back in 1976, Academician Viktor Makarovich Penchukov and Professor Valentin Vasilievich Ageev created a multifactorial station at the experimental station of the university. And for 40 years already the optimization of fertilizer systems in crop rotation has been studied using the methods of basic soil cultivation. The problem for long-term stations is the expansion of settlements, interest in land plots of various business structures and officials. Only thanks to the support of the Rector of our University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Truhachev, Director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Agrochemistry, Academician Victor Gavrilovich Sychev and status confirmed by a certificate of long experience, we managed to defend the station today. However, in future such scientific stations should be legislatively given the status of specially protected land plots.
Providing scientific, educational and consulting services at a high professional level became possible thanks to the unique material and technical base created in our University by our Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Trukhachev Vladimir Ivanovich, as well as the work of competent scientists, cooperation with the strategic partners of our region, Russia and Europe.
