On April 18, 2018, within the framework of cooperation and exchange of experience, the delegation of the Republic of Crimea visited the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The members of the delegation are:

Donets Oleg Vasilievich, Doctor of Economics, Director of the Academy of Bioresources and Nature Management, Associate Professor of the Vernadsky Crimean Federal University;

Izotov Anatoly Mikhailovich, Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Academy of Bioresources and Nature Management, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor;

Ilyin Alexander Valerievich, PhD in Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor, leading researcher of the laboratory of quality of agricultural raw materials and food products.

As guests of honor the delegation from Crimea took part in the 83rd annual scientific and practical conference "Agrarian Science for the North Caucasus Federal District", where they made presentations on the importance of scientific discoveries and achievements, without which it is impossible to imagine the development of a modern agro-industrial complex.

The main objectives of the visit are the expansion and strengthening of cooperation between our universities, the growth of academic and scientific mobility, the implementation of joint projects and programs, and professional development of the teaching staff.

During the organized excursion the delegation was acquainted with the faculties and directions of scientific developments of the leading scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The guests noted the high level of the material and technical base of the university, they were impressed with the scientific achievements and experimental developments of the specialized laboratories of the Agrarian University.

During the visit, the Russian experience of training personnel for the agro-industrial complex, the questions of admission to agricultural universities, the organization of training and production practices for students, as well as the issues of further cooperation between universities were studied.

This visit will be an excellent opportunity for establishing lasting business contacts and a new platform for strengthening ties between the Republic of Crimea and the Russian Federation.
