On April 12, a seminar was held on the basis of the Stavropol State Agrarian University under the guidance of the Associate Professor of the Department of Statistics and Econometrics Skripnichenko Yuri Sergeevich on the topic: "Using Information Technologies in the Field of State Statistics" within the program of advanced training "Information technologies in the field of state statistics" for employees of the Office of the Federal Service of State Statistics for the North Caucasus Federal District.
The seminar participants learned how to use the tools for processing statistical information with IBM SPSS Statistics, Statitica software for multidimensional groupings of research objects, constructing spatial, dynamic and complex econometric models for the production of agricultural organizations in the Stavropol Territory.
"The tools of IBM statistical data processing software SPSS Statistics, Statistica allow not only to process statistical databases with a high degree of reliability, but also to visualize the results of modeling economic processes in the form of diagrams, volumetric surfaces, linear graphs. Besides, the formalization and application of spatially-dynamic models in practice makes it possible to estimate the predicted values of the indicators of economic activity of organizations, also in the context of several scenarios for the economic development of the region," – explained the Associate Professor of the Department of Statistics and Econometrics Yu. S. Skripnichenko.
