open lectures on the topic "Corruption: history and modern times" for students of the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, Faculty of Power Engineering and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Technological Management. The lectures were held with the participation of the head of the Department for the Supervision of the Implementation of Anti-Corruption Legislation of the Prosecutor's Office of the Stavropol Territory, Evgeny Vladimirovich Dashkevich.
Considering corruption as one of the most serious obstacles to Russia's economic and political development, realizing that it constitutes a threat to national security, creates the need to establish an anti-corruption education system as a separate component of the general education system. Educational work to form students' anti-corruption world view is part of the anti-corruption state policy to eliminate (minimize) the causes and conditions that generate and nourish corruption in various spheres of life.
Anti-corruption education in our university is carried out both with the use of traditional forms of education, i.e. including elements of anti-corruption education in general education programs, and non-traditional ones, such as encouraging various kinds of youth initiatives in additional education: actions, student conferences, round tables, debates and other events with the participation of law enforcement officials. Taking into consideration that the main goal of anti-corruption education is the formation of civic consciousness, the most favorable environment for its integration is social disciplines such as social studies, history. The expected result of anti-corruption education is a personality who knows the dangers posed by corruption for the well-being of society and the security of the state, and who does not want to tolerate corruption – a person who is capable and willing to eliminate this phenomenon.
Professors and students of the faculties actively joined the dialogue with the lecturer and the representative of the prosecutor's office about the dangers of corruption in the modern world.
