In 2018 the final of the National Championship "Young Professionals" (World Skills Russia) will be held for the sixth time. This is the most ambitious competition in Russia for professional skills among students of colleges, technical schools and universities from 16 to 22 years. This year Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk was chosen as the venue for the national finals. From 8 to 12 on August, 50,000 guests from all regions of the country will watch the performances of 800 contestants on the site of the "Alley" complex and the "Pushisty" airfield.
At the end of April, the final stage of selection of contestants for the VI National Championship "Young Professionals" (World Skills Russia) in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk started. Those who are to defend the honor of their region on the most ambitious competitions of professional skill in Russia, will be chosen according to the results of the qualifying competitions.
The winners of 62 regional championships competed for the right to enter the final in the competence of "18 Wiring", which took place from September of last year and ended in March 2018. From Stavropol region in the qualifying competitions in this competence took part a team consisting of a 3rd year student of the Electric Power Department DIGOVTSOV GEORGIY and the expert-compatriot EFANOV ALEXEY VALERIEVICH. The finale of the National Championship "Young Professionals" (World Skills Russia) in the competence of "18 Wiring" will go the best representative of the North Caucasus Federal District.
