The university staff are the Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Automation and Metrology Samoilenko V.V. and Associate Professor of Information Systems Department Samoilenko I.V. took part in the International Congress dedicated to the development and implementation of intellectual networks (ICSG-2018) held in Istanbul (Turkey) from April 24 to 26, 2018.
Researchers, developers and users of Smart Grid from more than 20 countries, including the USA, Italy, Canada, China, Iran, Jordan, etc., traditionally took part in ICSG-2018.
There were panel discussions on the following issues at the Congress Halls: distributed generation systems, the impact of information and communications on the Smart Grid, renewable energy and energy efficiency, the impact of blocking technology on the energy industry, the Internet of Things, and communication technologies in the Smart Grid.
The program and organizational committee of the Congress included: IEEE Power & Energy Society, Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey, leading world companies: SIEMENS, ORACLE, ELDER, leading universities and associations.
Employees of the university presented the results of research on the topic "Strategies for managing loads on redundant equipment in Smart Grids (Load Management Strategies for Redundant Equipment in Smart Grids)" both at the panel discussion and at the conference section.
The presented scientific article will be published in the IEEE Xplore database and indexed in the international science-based databases Web of Science and Scopus.
