Representatives of 22 agricultural universities from different parts of Russia gathered in Volgograd on the eve of Victory Day. Leaders and activists of club associations for several days communicated, exchanged experience and got acquainted with the richest history of the hero city.
The delegation of the Stavropol State Agricultural University was represented by the senior lecturer of the department of Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology Tatyana Kolesnikova, the fourth-year student of the Accounting and Financial department, the head of the student center for civil and patriotic education "Patriot" Jana Nikonova and the student of the 1st year of the Accounting and Financial department Valery Khvorost.
Within the framework of the rally, solemn events dedicated to the Victory Day were held: a parade of cadets of the military department in front of the central entrance to the Volga Federal District; honoring the veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the participants of the Battle of Stalingrad and the children of the military Stalingrad; concert dedicated to the Victory Day. Delegates and guests of the rally witnessed one of the most spectacular moments - the youth patriotic action "Waltz of Victory".
The key events of the meeting were the opening of the youth policy center of the Volgograd State Automated Aviation Administration, the presentation of civil and patriotic work: the opening of the sports and patriotic radio club “Kolos” with the entrance to the international amateur radio, the exhibition of military equipment, demonstration speeches on fire and applied training, a master class on sports radio direction-finding "Hunting for fox" in cooperation with RO DOSAAF of Russia in the Volgograd region, an excursion to the interactive museum "Russia is my history", an excursion to the city of Kalach-on-Don.
A landmark event was the planting of the tree of the Stavropol SAU on the avenue of agrarian universities in Russia.
Solemn closing of the All-Russian meeting of patriotic clubs and associations of agrarian universities "Native Land" was held during a boat trip to the places of military glory of the Volga River Flotilla.
