Visit of the Representative of the Skolkovo Foundation to the Agrarian University

May 18, 2018 Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Technology Management of our University were visited by the Head of the Department of Regional Development of the Skolkovo Foundation Alexander Okunev. Within the framework of the visit, issues of participation of Representatives of the Skolkovo Foundation in the innovative development of the Region and the holding of the Startup Tour in the city of Stavropol were considered. Also, special attention was paid to the promotion of innovative projects.During the visit, Alexander Okunev demonstrated innovative material resources and achievements of the University. Alexander Anatolyevich met with the Faculty, young scientists and heads of small innovative companies of the University. The Representative of the Skolkovo Foundation spoke about the system of grants, support of start-ups in promising areas. He invited young innovators to direct cooperation and noted that many large companies that have already entered the markets need regional project companies and groups. Faculties of the State Agrarian University with their human and infrastructural potential may well become participants of large projects.
