From May 21 to May 25, 2018 in the city of Ramenskoye, Moscow region, the Russian Championship in the sports wrestling among students was held, in which athletes from 25 universities of the country took part. The team of the Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by three students-athletes freestyle and Greco-Roman style.
In the championship of free wrestlers in the weight category up to 74 kg, bronze was won by Marik Shebzukhov, master student of the second year of the Accounting and Finance Department of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
Also, Arsen Oganyants, second-year student of the faculty of veterinary medicine, rose to the third step of the podium, showing good technique of Greco-Roman wrestling in the weight category up to 87 kg.
The results of our athletes, presented at the All-Russian competition, speak of their high qualification, that they are ready to compete with the strongest athletes of our country. The guys joined the Russian national wrestling team, and will be trained for the upcoming international competitions.
