Students of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization brilliantly coped with the demonstration exam

On the basis of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, from May 27 to May 30, 2018, a demonstration exam was conducted on the competence "Operation of agricultural machines". This form of examination test helps to develop the quality of practical training of graduates.

The competitive site of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, students of which passed the test, was equipped with the best examples of modern agricultural machinery. The list of necessary units is regulated by the World Skills Russia Union. Participants - third-year students of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization Sanal Abushinov, Oleg Ilyin, Vladislav Kabisov, Boris Kirillov and Sergey Shutov - also used modern tools and equipment.

Before the beginning of the exam for participants, a draw was made to determine the starting, starting module. The day before the start of the test, according to the requirements of World Skills, certified expert Sergey Nikolayevich Pelipenko, together with representatives of the expert group, changes were made to the competition task. The composition of the expert group is formed from the number of managers and leading specialists of the service departments of dealer centers for the sale of agricultural machinery (LLC Scientific and Technical Center, LLC Bauer-Stavropol, CJSC CCC Stavropolstroyoptorg, Trade House MTZ-Stavropol, CJSC CCC "Stavholding"). Experts Vovchenko Igor Igorevich, Fustochenko Aleksey Yurievich, Chetin Alexander Alexandrovich, Shvirev Roman Alekseevich and Shpika Sergey Anatolyevich at work were distributed on competitive modules. Judging was not only in assessing the correctness and consistency of operations, but also compliance with safety regulations.

During the three days of testing, the participants had to complete the tasks of the four modules. The first contest task was the module for troubleshooting and adjusting the engine timing mechanism for the Deutz engine of the ATM Terrion-4200 tractor. In the course of work on the module, it was necessary to dismantle part of the power units and nodes of the power system. After the completion of the preparatory stage of the works, the contestant proceeded to perform the required module.

The contents of the second module provided for the maintenance of the fuel system of the tractor MTZ-80.1. The student participant had to determine the malfunctions of the fuel system units and nodes, only then eliminate them and perform maintenance operations. The contestants performed work on the adjustment of diesel fuel equipment - injectors and a high-pressure fuel pump, set the time of the injection of fuel, checked the condition of the filter elements and the system's mains.

In the third section of the demonstration examination, work was to be carried out to search for failures of the PR-145S roll press. The expert community has introduced malfunctions into the mechanisms of the pick-up drive, the knitting machine and the locking of the pressing chamber. The task was also to adjust the safety clutch of the press drive. Having eliminated the malfunctions, maintenance operations and adjusting and adjusting operations were performed.

The final module of the competition task of the exam was maintenance of the arable unit as part of John Deere - 6534 with the Kuhn Multimaster plow. Participants needed to set the required width of the gun, set the depth of plowing, replace the share, reset the chisel, and adjust the mechanism of rotation of the plow. Consecutive execution of all tasks of the module allowed to complete it with good results.

Totally each of the participants of the exam spent 15 hours on the tasks of the contest task. After three competitive days, the group of experts signed the evaluation lists and included in the results monitoring system. The main expert, with the consent of all members of the commission, blocked the assessments and sent the results to Moscow. After analyzing them and calculating the total number of points, the monitoring system provided a ranking table for participants:

According to Sergey Pelipenko, expert of the World Skills Union, the results of the participants in the pilot approbation are worthy of respect and praise. From his words, the task is structured in such a way that it is difficult to perform in the specified time frame even for professionals. Such approaches to the formulation of tasks are regulated by the union, they make it possible to intensively develop the practical component of training specialists. The received results allow to estimate not only quality, but also the maintenance of educational programs, and also to correct taught courses.
