Educational and experimental farming - the basis for forming the professional competencies of future economists

On May 29, 2018, within the framework of mastering practical skills and studying the disciplines "Organization, Rationing and Wage" and "Enterprise Activity Planning" in the training and experimental farm of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the Associate Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship and the World Economy, Angelika Rashitovna Baicherova held a practical practical lesson for students 3 courses of the profile "Economics of Enterprises and Organizations".

The topic of the workshop was "Conducting time-keeping observations". During the lesson, the students got acquainted with the labor processes of the technological operations "The introduction of mineral fertilizers on mustard crops" and "The rowing cultivation of sunflower". The director of the training and experimental farm, Alexander Vladimirovich Voskoboinikov, and the chief agronomist, Alexey Gennadievich Matveyev, before the beginning of the time-keeping observations, told the children in detail about the technology for carrying out these types of work, and gave instructions on safety techniques.

By consolidating theoretical knowledge in practice, students in the course of the training received skills in identifying the loss of working time and their causes, searching for optimal forms of work organization, examining the balance of working hours of the most effective employees, developing time standards and calculating production rates, assessing the efficiency of technological operations and the degree interest of workers in its increase.

Undoubtedly, this experience of practical activity increases students' interest in the formation of professional competencies, which will enable them to successfully solve economic problems related to the planning and organization of labor processes in any workplace in the future.
