Students of Agrobiology and Land Resources presented their diploma theses to employers

At the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of Stavropol State Agrarian University, the final qualification works of students who received training in the direction "Agronomy", profile "Fruit and vegetable growing" were defended.

The State Examination Commission was headed by the head of the Department of Plant and Ecology of Don State Agricultural University, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Konstantin Viktorovich Pimenov.

Also, the representatives of the agricultural production of the region attended the defense of the final qualifying works: Dmitry A. Pokolodny, Head of Joint-Stock Company “Bayer”, Vasily Pavlovich Egorov, Stand-in Director of the State Center for Agrochemical Service “Stavropolsky”, Anna Andreeva, General Director of the LLC “Vkus Stavropolia".

The presented researches of students were devoted to perfection of technologies of cultivation of vegetable and fruit-berry cultures. The defense was accompanied by an interesting discussion of the authors of the works and the members of the State Examination Commission.

Based on the results of the past protection, plans have been outlined for the employment of graduates in the leading agricultural enterprises of the region. Representatives of the production noted a high level of training of students, and a number of works are planned to be introduced into the technological process of growing vegetable and fruit and berry crops.
