Students of SSAU are Volunteers of the World Cup

As we know, at the present time Russia is hosting the 21st FIFA World Cup. On the basis of 176,870 submitted applications 17,040 of the most worthy and talented representatives of the youth were selected for the volunteer corps, among them 4 persons are students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.Throughout Russia there are 15 volunteer centers. Volunteers of the World Championship help in 20 functional areas. Our students are also involved in various services.

Student of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Services and Tourism Natalia Kuznetsova is a linguist in the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In addition, Natasha also works in the transport service, meets guests at the airport in Rostov-on-Don.

Tishchenko Stasya is a student of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Services and Tourism works at the airport in Sochi. Meeting FIFA representatives, judges and teams who come to the game, as well as help in translating from English into Russian are the main functions of our volunteer.

Student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Kateeva Nailya is the leader of city volunteers and volunteer for work with spectators at the Fan Zone. Naila's main task is to cover the program of events, regulate the flow of people, help fans and guests and create a friendly atmosphere.

Alimina Baimanbetova, a student of the Accounting and Finance Faculty, works in 3 services at once: "Last mile" - providing navigation assistance to guests and fans, assisting security services at checkpoints and in the work of the search zone; "Festival of fans" - assistance in seating on the stands, emotional support of fans and the creation of a festive atmosphere, activation of spectators of the rostrum during the competitions and competitions; "Urban activities" - work on the objects of urban infrastructure, help in orienting on the terrain, inform the city's guests about places of leisure and catering, transport logistics, cultural events taking place in the city, sights.

Participation in such a large-scale event is a huge, unforgettable and useful experience in communication with many people from different corners of the planet, with their culture and views. Here you can get unique knowledge about the world and excellent language practice. To be a part of such an event is a great honor!
