The Volunteer unit "Care" of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture of Stavropol State Agrarian University provides support to children left without parental care and in a difficult life situation for more than 17 years.
Specially trained volunteers of the group "Care" periodically visit orphans and inmates of boarding schools, communicate with them, "give hands" to the kids, conduct entertaining and cognitive activities with older children, read, draw, play. Their task is to brighten up the children's leisure, to support them, because they sometimes lack simple attention. Volunteers from the "Care" unit go to children's institutions: shelters, orphanages, boarding schools with developing classes. Often, communication takes place in the format of master classes, when children have the opportunity to learn this or that skill in a game form.
Communication with volunteers helps children to get an idea of life outside the institution. Later, after entering into an independent life, it will be easier for them to orient themselves in society.
Students of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture visited the orphanage "Rosinka", where they held a regular holiday for children.
In the orphanage, 20 pupils celebrate birthdays in the summer months. Birthday parties received their traditional gifts from our students.
