The 27th International Agro-Industrial Exhibition-Fair "Agroruss-2018" - one of the most significant events of the domestic agro-industrial complex - was completed at the "Expoforum" of St. Petersburg. The exhibition-fair gathered about 1000 companies and farms from 15 countries, more than 3000 specialists took part in the business program. The total number of visitors was 92000 people.
The exhibition "Agrorus" demonstrated agricultural achievements of small and medium-sized farms, large enterprises. Collective expositions showed the Leningrad, Tambov, Saratov, Pskov and Vologda regions, St. Petersburg and the Republic of Belarus.
Since 2006 Stavropol State Agrarian University is a traditional participant of the events of this exhibition.
On August 23, within the framework of the business program, the conference "Implementation and practical application of modern methods for ensuring biological safety in veterinary medicine" was held. The vice-rector for scientific and innovative work of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Vitaliy Yuryevich Morozov took part in the report on the topic "New methods of indications of pathogenic microflora in the air of cattle-breeding premises, means and technologies of disinfection".
This year, the Stavropol State Agrarian University presented seven scientific developments for the contest "Gold Medal" organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation in the nomination "For achievements in the field of innovations in agro-industrial complex: for achievements in the field of agricultural science".
