On the eve of the new academic year, the rating agency White Square Journal (WSJ) conducted a large-scale independent research to identify the leaders of the higher school of the Russian Federation, providing high-quality education and the relevance of graduates. The Stavropol State Agrarian University is the only agricultural higher education institution in Russia that has entered this rating. Also, SSAU is the only representative of the higher educational institutions of the North Caucasus in the WSJ list.
As the authors note, the rating was created with the aim of forming TOP-100 popular universities of the country in 2018 on the basis of an expert assessment of the quality of their education. "Top universities often cooperate with a lot of enterprises, so their graduates have fewer problems with employment," the agency said.
The rating of the best universities was compiled by the rating agency WSJ on the basis of data from open sources. It takes into account the opinion of current students, graduates of the last five years, employers and expert group. In addition, the reputation of universities in open sources (Internet, social networks, forums, etc.) played an important role in determining TOP-100.
Representatives of the agency indicate that this rating will now be compiled and published annually.
