Stavropol SAU was visited by the Chairman of the South-Western Bank of Sberbank of Russia

Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted an open dialogue of students with the authoritative financier - the chairman of the South-Western Bank of PJSC "Sberbank" Yevgeny Viktorovich Titov within the framework of the celebration of the All-Russian professional holiday "The Day of a Financier".

September 7, 2018 within the walls of the Agrarian University Southwest Bank PJSC Sberbank of Russia in conjunction with the accounting and finance faculty held two landmark events.

A closed meeting of the Discussion Club with the participation of Yevgeny Titov, the Chairman of the South-West Bank, Alexei Sergeyevich Chvanov, the Governor of Stavropol Branch No. 5230, Leontieva Gulnara Ferdinandovna, the HR Director of the South-West Bank, Vyacheslav Taranov, the business trainer and 13 promising young leaders of the South-Western Bank.

Vice-rector for teaching and educational work Atanov Ivan Vyacheslavovich and dean of the financial and accounting faculty Kostyukova Elena Ivanovna conducted a sightseeing tour of the Agrarian University for leading employees of the Savings Bank and presented the results of long-term cooperation of SSAU and Stavropol Branch No. 5230 PJSC Sberbank of Russia.

Simultaneously, on the website of the university, a meeting was held between Yevgeny Viktorovich Titov, who is a graduate of our university, and the best students. At the beginning of the meeting the banker shared a 25-year history of his career growth in the Sberbank of Russia system from an ordinary employee from 1993 to the head of a territorial bank at present. Since July 2003, Yevgeny Viktorovich for four years has been the manager of Nevinnomyssk Branch No. 1573. Since 2007 he has held the post of Deputy Chairman of the North Caucasus Bank, during 2011 worked as Deputy Director of the Department for Work with Sberbank's branches, program of reformatting the network of the credit organization's subdivision, was later appointed chairman of the Far Eastern Bank, and in February 2017 was approved as the chairman of the South-West Bank. In December 2016, for his great contribution to the development and improvement of the banking sector, he was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 2nd Class.

During the dialogue with the youth, Yevgeny Titov suggested that students learn about the technologies of success in the era of change. The banking industry is rapidly changing under the influence of a number of global challenges. To be a market leader means the introduction of new technologies based on models of artificial intelligence and machine learning: blockade, VA / AR, IoT, software robots (bots), cloud technologies.

Currently, Sberbank is beginning to actively build an ecosystem of non-financial businesses to meet the ultimate needs of customers, such as purchases, health, recreation, home, business development. Therefore, the system of Sberbank formulated the competencies-2020, which employees must have. To provide employees with skills that are scarce in the labor market (management of large-scale transformations, Agile, DevOps, data management), the bank launched the Academy of Technology and Data in the CG. At the heart of the changes in the HR function will be the transition to the SF cloud platform with an increase in the role of managers in human management, automation of basic tools and personnel management processes (up to 90%), the integration of models based on employee intelligence, using artificial intelligence and sociotiping in decision-making on main processes, unification and centralization of HR services for all functions. In Sberbank, new professions are also emerging.

The student youth of the agrarian higher educational institution was also interested in other issues, the answers to which were provided by the Chairman of the South-West Bank, and, by the results of an interesting discussion, most active students were encouraged with prizes.

At the end of the unforgettable and very productive meeting, Yevgeny Titov stressed that our time is called VUCA - this is an unstable, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world, like an ocean. Today, more and more often young people have to think about what kind of activities to choose, for not to stay, after all, "out of the way" of modern life. Therefore, he recommended that students take as their basis the life credo of the model and the success formula from Yitzhak Adizes and Ray Dalio: "You must change and grow with your company, otherwise you risk becoming useless"; "In the daytime when you stop learning, there must be only the day of your death"; "The key to success is dreams, combined with a sober assessment of what reality is, as well as knowing how to defeat this reality, and with determination to do it."

And these farewell words of an authoritative manager will serve as a good impulse for those who see themselves in the financial sphere and are ready to actively build the future of Russia.
