At the Federal site "Young farmers" youth forum " Rostov-2018. Time for opportunities", students of Stavropol State Agrarian University with the project "Smart farm" Agrofit " received grant support in the amount of 100 thousand rubles. The event was held from 10 to 15 September on the shore of the sea of Azov and gathered agricultural youth from all over Russia.
The delegation of Stavropol region was represented by 15 people, 11 of them-students of SSAU.
At the forum, students presented 3 team projects for the grant competition. This "Smart-farm "Agrofit"; "Educational stands for automated growing of improved mini-tuber potatoes"; "Mycelium" - resource centre for rural youth".
After protecting the project expert Council of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, among 93 applicants, supported the idea of our students creating smart farms growing greens. "StavRybAgro," representing the project consists of students of the Electrical Engineering Faculty (Kolesnikov Kirill, Digovzov Georgy Boyko Kirill), Economic Faculty (Olga Bogachenko) and the Veterinary Medicine Faculty (Polnikova Ksenia).
The project "Smart-farm "Agrofit" is aimed at creating a training stand for the development of technologies and organization of the automation system, as well as determining the optimal parameters of growing plants in a hydroponic installation, which, in turn, allows you to act within the framework of the National technological Initiative "FoodNet". The automation system will be developed and created on the basis of student scientific and technical laboratory "ESL" and Student scientific society 2.0 "Agrosphere".
The raised funds will be used for technical implementation of the project.
