Participation in the work of the XIV Congress of the International Association of Morphologists

From September 19 to 22, 2018 in Astrakhan, on the basis of Astrakhan State Medical University Professor of the Department of Parasitological and Veterinary Expertise, Anatomy and Pathanatomy named after. Professor S.N. Nikolsky, Stavropol State Agrarian University, Porublev V.A. took part in the XIV Congress of the International Association of Morphologists.

During the work of the Congress, reports of scientists-morphologists of Russia, CIS countries and the Far Abroad were considered in two main directions: "Morphogenesis and structural transformations of organs and tissues in the norm and under the influence of anthropogenic factors. Ecology and Public Health "," Current Issues and Innovative Solutions in the Teaching of Morphological Disciplines". Professor Porublev V.A., having addressed with a salutatory word to participants of the Congress and congratulations on behalf of the management and collective addressed to employees and students of Astrakhan State Medical University on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of its foundation, made a report on the topic: "On the use of electronic manuals in the educational process on the discipline "Anatomy of animals." In the course of his speech, Porublev V.A.. noted innovative approaches in using the above-mentioned educational resources in the study of anatomy by students studying in the specialty "Veterinary", and also drew the attention of the audience to their advantages in comparison with printed educational publications. In this case, V.A. Porublev paid attention to the material and technical base of the university, which allows to develop and use electronic educational resources, and also expressed gratitude to the University's management, personally to the Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vladimir I. Trukhachev for the opportunity to take refresher courses in this direction, not only with the participation of Russian specialists , but also with the involvement of foreign scientists, in particular, professors of Maryland State Mark Warner and Robert Hill, carrying out training of the teaching staff of the University of Distance Education in the framework of a joint grant project. After Porublev V.A. answered the questions of the audience and urged those present to improve in this direction with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the domestic education in the world market of educational services.

During the Congress, Professor Porublev V.A. also carried out the exchange of experience in conducting scientific research with medical and veterinary colleagues, morphologists, visited the departments of Astrakhan Medical University.
