Agrarian University discussed the prospects for the development of the digital economy

A sectional meeting "Prospects for the development of the digital economy" was held at the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digital Technologies in Agriculture: Current Status and Prospects for Development" organized by the Accounting, Finance and Economics Faculty of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The conference was held within the framework of the implementation of the Roadmap for the transformation of Stavropol State Agrarian University into the University Centre for Innovative and Technological Development of Stavropol Territory.

The main objective of this conference is the scientific development of young scientists and familiarity with new practice-oriented research in various fields of science and practice in the digital field.

The conference was opened by Bobryshev Aleksey Nikolayevich, the head of the project office of the Strategic Development and Design Department of SSAU, Doctor of Economics, associate professor, with the report "Regional model of the prospective FoodNet market in Stavropol Territory". The speaker noted that the main objective of implementing the regional model of the FoodNet market is to develop cooperation with small and medium-sized businesses, large companies, including participants in innovation and industrial clusters of the region, associations and other associations, in order to form smart services and products. The FoodNet market affects all industries and is a response to such trends of modern civilization as automation and digitalization, personalization and urbanization, security and environmental management.

The dean of the Accounting and Finance Faculty, Doctor of Economics, Professor Kostyukova Elena Ivanovna and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Kusakina Olga Nikolayevna also addressed the audience with welcoming words. They congratulated all participants on the beginning of the conference, wished fruitful work, effective cooperation, and most importantly the further successful implementation of valuable ideas and experience gained during the conference.

The guest of the scientific event was the resident of Skolkovo Innovation Centre, the technical director of AIST-AGRO, Dimitrenko Vyacheslav Yurievich, who made a presentation "Digital Economy: History, Realities, Prospects".

During the conference, reports were also made by: Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Information Systems Shuvaev Aleksandr Vasilievich, who covered the topic "Digital Economy: Development Trends"; on the formation and management of the development of agro-industrial clusters of the digital economy of Russia reported the candidate of economic sciences, associate professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship and the World Economy Natalia N. Telnova. Candidate of economic sciences, senior lecturer of the department of financial management and banking Shamrina Svetlana Yurievna spoke about the development of the regional payment system in the digital economy.

Based on the materials of this scientific and practical conference, a collection of scientific papers will be published and placed in the RISC database.
