I International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digital Technologies in Agriculture: Current State and Prospects of Development"

September 25, 2018 in Stavropol State Agrarian University within the framework of the 4th annual international investment forum "AgroYug 2018" the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digital technologies in agriculture: current state and development prospects" was held.

The number of participants in the conference is more than 100 people among them: the leading scientists of the Stavropol Territory, the heads of technology companies, enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, the banking sector, federal and regional agribusiness management bodies, and invited foreign experts.

At present, the Russian Federation is forming the basis for the digital transformation of industry directions, including agriculture. The conference participants discussed the experience of introducing digital technologies of Russian and foreign companies, the scenario of digital transformation of agriculture, considered the mechanisms of state stimulation of the agricultural producer in order to introduce digital platforms for managing the economy.

The plenary session was opened by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Work of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Morozov Vitaly Yurievich, the main topic of the report was devoted to the development of the regional model of the prospective market "FoodNet", which the university scientists are actively engaged in. Public hearings of the regional model of the promising market "FoodNet" developed at the university are provided for by the road map for the transformation of Stavropol State Agrarian University into the university centre for innovative and technological development of the Stavropol Territory within the framework of the national project "Universities as centres of innovation creation".

The main speakers were: Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Sergei Ridny, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory Zhanna Borisovna Ustimenko, Head of the Sales Group of the TN-Group Company Mikhail Vasilyevich Kulakov (Belgorod) who presented the possibilities and advantages of the automated information system management of "Agro-analyst". Anna Ivolga Grigorievna's report was devoted to the specifics of the fundamentals of food and food safety, Sycheva Olga talked about the scientific principles of creating personalized nutrition products, the speech of Kapov Sultan Nanuovich revealed the basic principles of creating an automated seeding unit.

In the course of a lively discussion, all participants exchanged views, identified priority problems, introduced digital technologies in agriculture, discussed important issues of increasing the efficiency of agricultural production in crop production and livestock, mechanisms and measures of state support to stimulate the introduction of digital technologies, as well as ways to organize online shopping, platforms for the promotion of agricultural products to the consumer and for export.
