Useful lectures on the subject "Introduction to the specialty"

During the first month of the new school year, the departments of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture of Stavropol State Agrarian University held meetings with representatives of various medical institutions that will allow first-year students to better adapt to the urban youth environment.

Lecture on “Introduction to the specialty”, held for first-year students of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources and ecology and landscape architecture, was opened by the dean, professor of the RAS Alexander Nikolayevich Esaulko, who presented Supronova Ksenia Armenovna, doctor of the highest category of Stavropol Dermatovenerologic Dispensary, Oksana Nikolayevna Abolina, psychologist of Stavropol Regional AIDS Center and Rudomakha Lyudmila Viktorovna, doctor of Stavropol Regional TB Dispensary.

During the meeting, psychologist of Stavropol Regional AIDS Center O.N. Abolina said that for more than thirty years the world has been living with the problem of deadly AIDS. This disease is still incurable, difficult to diagnose and insidious. And how many myths are there about HIV and AIDS! She held an explanatory conversation among freshmen how to protect themselves from this terrible disease and where to turn for help.

Doctor of the highest category of Stavropol Dermatovenerologic Dispensary K.A. Supronova during the lecture said that sexually transmitted diseases occur quite often in the student’s environment, and the situation can only be changed by providing young men and women with accessible and reliable information on how to identify and treat these diseases. The doctor stressed that modern medicine has drugs that help to cope with almost any infection. The main thing is not to delay time, as soon as possible contact a specialist who can make the correct diagnosis and prescribe the necessary treatment.

And Rudomakha Lyudmila Viktorovna, a doctor of Stavropol Territorial TB Dispensary, urged first-year students to take care of their own health and undergo an X-ray every year.

First-year students were strongly recommended to be very attentive to themselves and the people around them.
