Open Day in the regional office of the Federal Treasury for students of Stavropol State Agrarian University

The Office of the Federal Treasury for Stavropol Territory at the Open Day on October 15, 2018 met the students of the accounting and finance department of the specialty "Economic Security" and the profile "Taxes and Taxation" of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The initiator of the event was the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance, headed by the head of the department, Ph.D., associate professor Glotova Irina Ivanovna.

The meeting began with a guided tour of the regional FT building. Assistant to the head of the department, Denischik, Marina Nikolaevna, introduced the students to the work of the departments of the Office. The guys also met with representatives of the Youth Council, who heads the treasurer of the department of cash services for budget execution (graduate of the accounting and financial department of the Stavropol State Agrarian University in 2014) Nemirovchenko Anna Konstantinovna. The Youth Council assists the head of UFK in creating conditions for the professional development of young specialists and supporting their intellectual and creative development.

Zhiltsova Raisa Andreevna, who headed the Office of the Federal Treasury for the Stavropol Territory from 2001 to 2010, told students about the history and current stage of development of the treasury system and its role in the financial system of the country. An informative excursion was organized on the basis of the Museum of the Department, during which students got acquainted with the main stages of the development of the Russian Treasury Service and the Museum Fund of the Office. During the meeting, a film was shown about the history of the Treasury of Russia.

Tatiana V. Kornienko, Deputy Head of the Federal Treasury Department for the Stavropol Territory, told students about the role of the Federal Treasury in managing public finances, the importance of the functions performed for the state at the current stage, the main tasks and functions of cash services for budget execution, presented the algorithms of the treasury support for budget spending, also the powers of the Federal Treasury for control and supervision in the financial and budgetary sphere in in accordance with the provisions of the Budget Code of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, students actively asked their questions and received exhaustive answers "from the first mouth." Tatyana Viktorovna told about the possibilities of professional career in the UFK in the Stavropol Territory, about the conditions for admission of students to practical training, about the requirements for candidates.

Participation in the event allowed future graduates to expand their professional knowledge.

The students thanked the management and staff of the Department for the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the Office of the Federal Treasury in Stavropol Territory.
