Students of the Agrarian University are prize winners of the Pension Exam

On October 16, 2018, in the Office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in Stavropol Territory, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the “Pension Exam” competition, which was held from April to September 2018 as part of raising pension literacy among young people. The competition was initiated by the Regional Office of the Pension Fund. The competition was attended by several dozen students of higher educational institutions of Stavropol Territory, including Stavropol State Agrarian University. Participants in the competition needed to be tested and developed a project to promote pension literacy among young people.

Prizewinners and winners of the competition were selected by an expert commission, which included specialists from the Department of the Pension Fund of Russia in Stavropol Territory. The panel of judges assessed the correctness and literacy of the answers to testing questions, as well as the relevance, novelty, practicality and expediency of the implementation of the developed project. The competition jury noted the high level of prepared projects.

Students of Stavropol State Agrarian University took an active part in the competition and won prizes:

- In the nomination "For a versatile study of the topic," a student of the 3rd course of the accounting and finance department Bakasova Anastasia Eldarovna won;

- a student of the 4th course of the accounting and finance faculty Avakian Vladimir Artemovich became the winner in the nomination "For a scientific approach";

- a diploma of 3 degree was awarded to a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Economics Sorokina Natalia Mikhailovna.

All winners were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts.

Vladimir Semenovich Popov, head of the Department of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in Stavropol Territory, noted that today's students will determine the further development of the pension system of the Russian Federation. Vladimir Semenovich stressed that all competitive projects deserve a lot of attention, they are full of interesting ideas and suggestions from young people who argue professionally and boldly about their future and the fate of the older generation.

Teachers of the department "Finance, credit and insurance business" – head of the Department Glotova Irina Ivanovna, Associate Professor Tomilina Elena Petrovna and Associate Professor Podkolzina Irina Mikhailovna - received letters of thanks for the provided methodological assistance to the contest participants.

Vladimir S. Popov, Head of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in Stavropol Territory, expressed special gratitude to Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev, rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, for many years of cooperation in raising the pension and social literacy of young people in Stavropol Territory.

The formation of pension rights is relevant for citizens of any age and the participation of students in such competitions contributes to the formation of a new pension culture among young people.
