Digital technology - in action!

Under this motto, a meeting was held between students of the economics department of Stavropol State Agrarian University and the leaders and specialists of a large diversified agricultural enterprise - Collective Farm -Breeding Plant named after Chapaev, Kochubeevsky district.

For students of the 3rd course of the economic faculty "Economics of Enterprises and Organizations" profile, associate professors of the Department of Economic Theory and Economics of Agro-Industrial Complex Ivan Kireevich Tseloval'nikov and Cherednichenko Olga Alexandrovna, as well as Kostyuchenko Tatyana Nikolaevna oriented lesson in the format of a discussion seminar on the basis of the Collective Farm -Breeding Plant named after Chapaev Limited Liability Company Kochubeevsky district.

As part of the study of the disciplines "Economics of agricultural and processing enterprises" and "Forecasting and planning of socio-economic development", students got acquainted with the experience of functioning of one of the leading agricultural enterprises of the Stavropol Territory, which is included in the rating of the club "Grain - 300".

Chapaev Collective Farm-Breeding Plant LLC is a diversified agricultural enterprise with high-tech plant growing and highly productive dairy cattle breeding. Head is Kalnitsky Evgeny Alexandrovich.

The meeting with the future economists was attended by managers and specialists of the company. During the discussion seminar, the chief economist Shikunova Nina Alexandrovna, the chief agronomist Goncharov Vitaly Timofeevich, the manager of the feed complex Bessarabov Roman Vitalyevich covered a wide range of issues: from the organization of production processes to the financial results of the enterprise as a whole.

So, Nina Alexandrovna introduced the students to the organizational and production structure of the enterprise, told the children about the specifics of their work and the features of the functioning of the planning and economic services of the enterprise. She analyzed the factors of industrial achievements of the economy in plant growing and animal husbandry, the main economic results of the activity of Collective Farm -Breeding Plant named after Chapaev. Special attention was paid to measures of state support of the enterprise within the framework of the implementation of the state program for the development of agriculture: conditions for obtaining concessional loans, subsidies for reimbursing part of the cost of increasing productivity in dairy cattle breeding, the amount of unrelated support, etc.

The students were particularly interested in the story of Nina Alexandrovna about the introduction of digital technologies in the enterprise: the GLONASS satellite system, as well as the demonstration of the possibilities of its application in practice.

The company is actively using modern satellite tracking equipment, which allows to optimize the work of the fleet of cars and tractors. The control is carried out with the help of special equipment, which provides the ability to track: movement of equipment using GPS / GLONASS trackers; speed limit with auto tracker; mode of work and rest with a tachograph; fuel consumption using a fuel level sensor, the safety of the driver, driver and cargo (panic button). According to the chief economist, the introduction of such a system has significantly reduced fuel costs.

The chief agronomist of the enterprise, Goncharov Vitaly Timofeevich, told students about the introduction of precision farming technologies, including the creation of electronic field maps and workstations for working with them on GIS technology, installation of navigation equipment, GPS and GLONASS autopilot systems, parallel driving systems and other navigation systems. Vitaly Timofeevich answered the students' questions and also spoke in detail about the technologies used to produce high-quality seed, fertilizers and plant protection products, the use of which, according to a specialist, allows achieving high production results.

At the end of the meeting, the chief specialists shared with the guys the success formula of their enterprise - this is a friendly, united team and the ability of the employees to work in a team. At the same time, social innovation plays an important role in the effective work of the team: the company management allocates significant funds to maintain the principles of a healthy lifestyle and the efficiency of its employees.
