Studying at “Autumn Academy of Livestock” is completed

The project "Autumn Academy of Livestock-2018", which was held on the basis of LLC Voronezhskaya Niva from 15 to 21 October 2018, completed its work. A 4-year student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Stavropol State Agrarian University Ivan Vasilyev took part in it. The educational project “Academy of Animal Husbandry” has been implemented by EkoNiva-APK Holding LLC (Voronezh) for students of Russian agricultural universities from 2015. More than 100 young representatives from 12 leading universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation have already participated in the project related to the field of dairy farming. From Stavropol, the fourth-year student of the faculty of veterinary medicine of our university, Ivan Vasilyev, passed the selection for participation in the project this fall. As part of the professional development program of the Academy of Animal Husbandry, Ivan trained in large animal husbandry complexes of the EkoNiva-APK agricultural holding in the Voronezh Region. It should be noted that, in addition to strengthening cooperation with leading agricultural universities of the country, EkoNiva strives to broaden the horizons of future specialists in the field of workflow and the use of modern technologies for milking, feeding, reproduction, treatment and maintenance of cattle in livestock farms, and skills of work with cattle. Students from 3-5 courses of agricultural universities who took part in the project were offered to undergo industrial or pre-diploma practice on the basis of EkoNivaAgro LLC (Voronezh region), Kaluzhskaya Niva LLC (Kaluga region) and promised to consider the possibility of further employment of children in agricultural enterprises of the EkoNiva-APK agricultural holding. Students were very pleased with the organization and conduct of practical training, because they received tremendous experience.
