From October 23 to October 26, 2018, the Head of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology underwent advanced training on the topic “Research Methods in Agrochemistry” at the Faculty of Chemistry of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Moscow and Agrophysical Research Institute, St. Petersburg.
The training was conducted by: Deputy Director for Research of the Agrophysical Research Institute, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Natalya Petrovna Buchkina on the topic: “Monitoring the Emission of Nitrous Oxide from Agricultural Soils”; Researcher of Moscow State University Gennady Gennadyevich Suvorov on greenhouse gas emissions and carbon cycle.
A positive decision was received on the issue of concluding an agreement on strategic cooperation and partnership, rendering mutual services, exchanging information, participating in joint practical projects and other types of joint activities.
The advanced training was held with the support of the strategic partner of Stavropol State Agrarian University - Andrei Melnichenko Charitable Foundation — Russia's first private foundation for infrastructure educational projects in the natural sciences. The mission is to create an environment for the development of talent in the Russian regions.
In 2017-2018 In the framework of the Program for the Support of Gifted Schoolchildren, key for the Foundation, in the regions where EUROCHIM, SUEK and SGK companies are present, 8 centers of children's scientific and engineering creativity were opened in Barnaul, Biysk, Kemerovo, Leninsk-Kuznetsk, Nevinnomyssk, Novomoskovsk and Rubtsovsk. In them more than 2000 schoolchildren of 5-11 grades study in depth the disciplines of the natural science cycle.
